Hello LUI followers! Gossip girl here, to spill your secrets. Ok not as yet but I would as soon as you share them with us. In the spirit of normalizing mental health struggles and helping others know that they are not alone. Follow the link and share your mental health struggles to help someone who may be struggling. Or maybe you just need to get something off your chest. Just share and maybe just maybe we'd do a blog post to help with your secrets.
In the spirit of being generous let us talk about the negative effects of concealing secrets. Whether it be lying about the state of your mental health or lying about your battery percentage research shows that there are harmful personal effects from just thinking about these secrets.
I am sure that we have all felt guilt before, studies have shown that when we keep secrets we often ruminate on these thoughts and feel guilt about them which can lead to feelings of helplessness and despair. Keeping secrets also affects you physically as it raises your stress hormones, increases your blood pressure, creates sleep issues, and causes various addictions.
It is time to unburden yourself of that secret! YES! I am talking to you!!!
